A truck connected via hardware that enables data transfer. The telematics device communicates with a web server and provides important information about the truck’s operation. The aim is greater efficiency, lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and better return on investment (ROI).
The hardware consists of a data processing unit with a transmission device, antenna, shock sensor and keypad, all factory-fitted. Data is sent to a central database and accessed via a web portal or mobile app. Full functionality requires I_Site activation.
As standard you get a fleet list with hour meter readings for all Toyota smart trucks, allowing you to monitor utilisation, as well as service and rental contract data.

Toyota Material Handling Europe applies an information security system aligned with ISO 27001. Data from standard smart trucks contains no driver data. For the full I_Site system, which processes personal data, a data processing agreement is concluded in accordance with GDPR.
